Hair Transplant Processes: Hello. I am Dr. Fatih Şahin. I will explain the hair transplant process in all details so that you do not have any questions in your mind and do not encounter any surprises.
1. Hair Transplant Processes Diagnose, Offer and Deal
After reaching us through any way (reference, website, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook etc.. ) we want a few pictures or videos to determine whether you are suitable for hair transplantation and to determine which technique is more suitable.. (Front of head, both sides, top of the head and back of head. As in the picture).
Your photos or videos After review by Fatih ŞAHİN, which technique is more suitable for you? How many grafts do you need on average? After these questions we will send a offer form.
If you accept our offer, we make an appointment for you. After you send us the photo of your flight ticket and passport, we plan your hotel and transfer reservation.
2. Issues to be Considered Before the Operation
- If you have any chronic diseases or medications that you use regularly, you should inform your doctor before the operation. (Hypertension, Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, Epilepsy, Heart Rhythm Disorder etc.)
- You should definitely bring the medicines you use regularly. ( Please dont leave your medicines at the hotel )
- If you are using any blood thinners before the operation, you should not use it at least 48-72 hours before. İf you are using drugs (heroin, cocaine, cannabis etc.), you should stop at least 1 week before the operation.. We recommend that you smoke less.
- You should not drink alcohol at least 2-3 days before the operation.
3. Arrival in İstanbul (First Day)
When you arrive in Istanbul, our transfer team will meet you at the airport and drop you off at the hotel we booked.

4. Operation Day (The Second Day)
After breakfast at the hotel, ur team will pick you up from your hotel and bring you to our clinic. Before starting the operation in our clinic, Dr. Fatih Şahin will do your consultation.During this time, your past medical history will be investigated, Your hair and your skin analysis will be done and after your front hairline is determined, you will be taken to the operating room for hair transplantation.

B. Preparation for hair transplant
- Vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, blood sugar, saturation are evaluated
- Blood tests will be done

- Local Anesthesia/Sedation: Local anesthesia is performed with DERMOJET, a needle-free anesthesia device. However, we can also perform anesthesia with sedation for our patients.
- Grafting: Grafting with 08-09 mm punches and there is no scar in the donor area afterwards.
- Channeling: Dr. Fatih Şahin opens canals with a Sapphire tip. There is no need to open a channel in the DHI technique.
- Hair Transplant Phase: Fue Technique with forceps, In the DHI technique, planting is done with Implanter/CHOI pens.
- Bandage: Dressing and bandage are applied at the end of the hair transplantation process., Your vital signs are checked again.
- Final Consultation: Dr. Fatih Şahin makes the final consultation. General information about hair transplantation is given , describes the medications you should use, explains the points you need to pay attention to.
- Transfer to Hotel: Our transfer team will drop you off at the hotel.
5 Hair Transplant Processes: Rest Day (The Third Day)
The day after the operation is free time. You can stroll, shop or relax at the hotel. But you should not hit your head and stand in the rain.
6. First Wash and Transfer to PRP and Airport (The Forth Day)
On the second day after the operation, of transfer team will pick you up from your hotel and bring you to our clinic for the first wash and PRP treatment.
- Your bandage will be removed in our clinic, Your first wash will be done and in the following days you will be told how to wash and your PRP treatment will be done.
- After all the procedures are completed, our transfer team will drop you off at the airport.
